Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor Division are proud to be working in partnership with a large Aerospace business based within the Sheffield area. We are currently seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join the team at this exciting time of expansion.
ROLE: Laser Operator
PAY: £34,809
HOURS: 3 Shifts (mornings, afters, nights)RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To set laser cutting fixtures
- To perform laser cutting operations of the components manufactured
- To check laser cut components to drawing specifications
- Maintain standard of all fixtures associated with Laser process
- Keep equipment operational by completing autonomous maintenance and calibration requirements
- Other duties as assigned, requested or needed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven track record in a Laser operating position – minimum 3 years, preferably within Aerospace sector is essential
- Trumpf machine experience is desirable
- Basic understanding of lean principles (5S) is desirable.
- Experience of working to production targets is essential.
