The role offers a salary of £34,809 and requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a laser operating position, preferably within the Aerospace sector.
Key responsibilities include setting laser cutting fixtures, performing laser cutting operations, and maintaining equipment.
Desirable skills include experience with Trumpf machines and a basic understanding of lean principles, along with a proven ability to meet production targets.

Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor Division are proud to be working in partnership with a large Aerospace business based within the Sheffield area. We are currently seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join the team at this exciting time of expansion.

ROLE: Laser Operator

PAY: £34,809

HOURS: 3 Shifts (mornings, afters, nights)RESPONSIBILITIES:

To set laser cutting fixtures
To perform laser cutting operations of the components manufactured
To check laser cut components to drawing specifications
Maintain standard of all fixtures associated with Laser process
Keep equipment operational by completing autonomous maintenance and calibration requirements
Other duties as assigned, requested or needed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Proven track record in a Laser operating position – minimum 3 years, preferably within Aerospace sector is essential
Trumpf machine experience is desirable
Basic understanding of lean principles (5S) is desirable.
Experience of working to production targets is essential.
