Service care solutions are currently working alongside a professional local authority based in Sheffield. They are looking for a Commercial Contract and Procurement lawyer to join their growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to work amongst legal experts and progress your career.

This role pays a competitive rate of £45 - £50 an hour umbrella depending on experience.

This role is on a temporary basis with potential to be long term.

Responsibilities as a Commercial Contract and Procurement Lawyer:

  • Able to handle high caseload in Contract and Procurement from start to completion.
  • Drafting high value and complex Contract and Procurement documentation.
  • Support with the continued development of the council's commercial team

About you as a commercial contract and procurement lawyer:

  • Strong understanding of contract law and procurement regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE experience in Contract and Procurement.
