Debt Recovery Solicitor (In-House)
This highly respected UK-wide organisation is keen to hire a Debt Recovery Solicitor to join its team in Sheffield. On offer are a competitive salary, hybrid working, good quality work and a friendly working environment.
As a Debt Recovery Solicitor, you will play a vital role in the firm’s debt recovery services, personally managing a caseload of defended small claims via a case management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealing with high value and complex pre-legal debts to assess suitability for legal action
- Pursuing claims (fast track and multi-track) by drafting pleadings, witness statements and producing court bundles
- Advising and liaising with clients on legal matters
- Assisting with overcoming disputes
About You
- Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with practical experience of legal collection
- Background in running a small claims caseload or dealing with debt recovery is preferred
