Quality Engineer NADCAP

Quality Engineer - Sheffield - Permanent position - Competitive Salary.UK's leading company in precision Engineering are currently looking to appoint a Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of NADCAP accreditation and audit requirements into their current team.About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NADCAP Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that our surface treatments meet the required quality standards. You will play a key part in maintaining compliance with NADCAP accreditation and driving continuous improvement across our processes.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain the quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards.Lead internal and external corrective actions to address quality issues.Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with NADCAP and AS9100 standards.Analyse quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.Provide training and guidance on quality standards and best practices.Generate required documentation for New Product Introduction (NPI).Support the business in enhancing Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) standards.Reduce internal rework and improve overall product quality.Conduct First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for customers.Ensure all testing is completed in accordance with the SPL test matrix, addressing any failures.Skills & Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the chemical processing industry.Strong knowledge of NADCAP accreditation and audit requirements.Experience conducting internal audits to NADCAP and AS9100 checklists.Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and interpret quality data.This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled quality engineer to make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing organisation.Apply now to be part of a team committed to excellence in quality and compliance!
