We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join a fantastic client of ours within the metal distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management, with a strong emphasis on audit processes and compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Sheffield, UK
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular quality assessments and inspections of products and processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality management practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the metal distribution or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in conducting and leading audits.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and other relevant quality regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
