Unique School Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School in the S8 area of Sheffield to appoint a Learning Mentor on a full-time basis from September 2024. The role is initiallyto start on a temporary basis however forthe right person could become permanent after 12 working weeks.
The role is to work in the Integrated Resource Unit within the mainstream school supporting students with barriers to learningsuch as SEND and/or behaviours that challenge.
Essential requirements for the role:
- Level 2 or above in Supporting Teaching & Learning in schools (or equivalent) alternativelyadequate experience would be accepted
- A genuinepassion for supporting students who struggle to access mainstream education
- Experience working within a school environment
- Commitmentto the safeguarding and wellbeing of the students you support
