Job Title: Commercial Legal SecretarySalary: £24,000 - £26,000Location: SheffieldWe are pleased to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary with a solid background in Commercial Law, ideally with exposure to Commercial Litigation, to join the expanding Sheffield office.In this role, you will need to combine outstanding secretarial skills with the ability to efficiently manage workflow while providing proactive, enthusiastic, and professional support.The firm fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering flexibility in working days and hours, as well as a range of attractive benefits, including car parking and a performance-based bonus structure.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a team of fee earners, preferably with experience at the partner level. Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, whether from dictation or through independent drafting, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Manage multiple Outlook inboxes, calendars, contacts, and assist in the organisation and filing of client files and folders. Demonstrate a typing speed of at least 65 words per minute. Assist with business development activities, including coordinating business travel, accommodation, and itineraries. Provide support to the team during periods of absence, ensuring smooth operations and continuity of service. Exhibit strong communication skills and emotional intelligence in all interactions.Key Qualifications:Proven experience as a legal secretary in a commercial environment, particularly supporting senior fee earners. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
