We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join our team and contribute to our reputation for excellence. This role offers the chance to work in a modern business environment, utilising cutting-edge technology while maintaining a personal touch with clients.

Day to day of the role:
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Directors/Fee Earners, including audio typing.
  • Liaise with Medical Agencies to organise appointments and collate records and reports.
  • Assist Directors/Fee Earners with case management under their supervision.
  • Handle client communications via telephone and email.
  • Prepare and draft witness statements and trial bundles.
  • Manage Court documentation and photocopying tasks.
  • Utilise and maintain the Case Management system, including updating Proclaim.
  • Record all telephone calls, notes, letters, emails, and documents on the Proclaim management system.
  • Maintain the Department’s filing system for easy document retrieval.
  • Assist the department in achieving set targets.
  • Answer reception calls and greet visitors as required.
  • Provide support across other areas or offices as requested by the Company.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Secretarial experience in a professional environment.
  • Organised with attention to detail.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.
  • RSA Typing and/or Audio Typing Stage II is desirable.
  • Good standard of education.
