The business has grown significantly in the last 5 years and is a leading player in the FMCG manufacturing sector. They employ over 500 people across 2 sites in the UK including a large warehouse operation near Sheffield.
Description
As the interim Warehouse Manager your duties will include, however will not be limited to:
- Overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Monitoring and managing high volumes of inventory
- Leading, training and mentoring a team of logistics personnel
- Developing and implementing efficient warehouse processes and procedures
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Handling any logistical issues that arise promptly and professionally
- Maintaining warehouse equipment and arranging for repairs when necessary
- Presenting reports on warehouse performance to senior management
Profile
The successful Interim Warehouse Manager should have:
- Worked in a similar warehouse management position, ideally within the FMCG industry
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and systems
Job Offer
