The Role
As Nights Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for managing overnight operations, ensuring the semi-automated systems run efficiently and the team performs to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating the night shift team to meet operational targets and KPIs.
- Monitoring and optimising the performance of semi-automated equipment to ensure uptime and accuracy.
- Managing workflows, prioritising tasks, and maintaining adherence to schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational protocols.
- Conducting regular performance reviews and providing development opportunities for team members.
- Collaborating with the day shift and senior leadership to ensure seamless handovers and operational alignment.
- Proven experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, ideally in a semi-automated or high-volume distribution environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to identify trends and drive performance improvements.
- Technical aptitude for understanding and optimising automated systems.
