PA/Senior Administrator - Part Time, 3 days per week

Adept Resourcing are seeking an experienced PA/Senior Administrator to join a leading engineering company in Sheffield. This is a key role within the business, supporting the senior management team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

If you have strong organisational skills, a wealth of administration experience, and some relevant accounts administration, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the senior management team.
  • Process invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including filing, document management, and maintaining databases.
  • Organise meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and manage the senior management team's schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including emails, reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate projects and ensure deadlines are met by liaising with other departments.
  • Assist with procurement, ordering office supplies, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Provide administrative support for any ad-hoc tasks as required by the senior management team.


Skills, Experience and Attributes:

  • Experience in a senior administrative or PA role, ideally within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in processing invoices and chasing overdue payments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience supporting senior management and handling confidential information.
  • Previous experience in an engineering or technical environment would be an advantage.
