Warehouse Administrator
Location: Dinnington, South Yorkshire
Salary: £14 per hour
Hours: 19 hours per week (Flexible, Monday - Thursday 4 hours per day, Friday 3 hours)
6-month temporary role, with potential to become permanent

We are currently expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Warehouse Administrator to join us and support our operations, working within a small, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfilment: Process and pick orders accurately, ensuring all items are checked against sales orders and inventory records.
  • Quality Control: Double-check orders for accuracy, inspect merchandise, and ensure full traceability of all items throughout the process.
  • Data Entry & Paperwork: Accurately update spreadsheets and maintain meticulous records on sales orders, inventory, and shipping details using Excel and EPDS software.
  • Communication: Liaise with the internal sales team and external customers to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Manage the receipt of deliveries (2 per week) and handle packaging and shipping processes using carriers such as UPS, DHL, and FedEx. Apply relevant commodity codes and tariffs for exports.
  • Inventory Management: Store and organise products for immediate or scheduled shipping, maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Sales Order Processing: Support in the end-to-end processing of sales orders, from receiving goods to shipping to the customer.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment and paperwork.
  • Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, though we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Export Knowledge: Familiarity with international shipping procedures and the use of commodity codes for exports (UPS, DHL, FedEx) is beneficial.

Additional Information:

  • Flexible Hours: While the working hours are flexible, they must be set once agreed upon. You'll work 19 hours per week across 4 days, Monday through Thursday (4 hours per day), with 3 hours on Friday.
