Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager Up to £35,000Sheffield, South Yorkshire Elevation Recruitment Group are searching for a Warehouse Manager to join a business who have become one of the largest manufacturers and distributors in their respective field. We are searching for a hands on individual to organise the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while overseeing the daily management of two facilities based in Sheffield. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure warehouse operations adhere to health and safety policies and maintain high standards continuously and throughout 
• Recruit, select, and train employees for daily operations, motivating and coaching them to achieve performance targets
• Supervise receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance activities
• Manage inventory to prevent damage or loss and ensure efficient use of space
• Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate performance
• Contribute to warehouse design and layout to optimise space usage
• Implement and maintain optimal operational policies and procedures
• Ensure all warehousing, handling, and shipping activities comply with legal requirements
• Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
• Regularly produce and analyse reports and statistics, including inventory status and stock reports
• Gather feedback and monitor service quality to ensure high standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Studying for or completed Level 5 in Management Studies (desirable)
• 2-3 years experience in a similar logistics or warehousing role
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems
• Forklift Truck (FLT) license (required)

What's On Offer:

• Circa £35,000 annual salary
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with a 30-minute break
