Job Details:
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will develop, and project manage strategic manufacturing implementations from concept to full production through feasibility study and CAPEX submissions. You will assist with CNC programming, fault finding, CNC tooling, process improvements and staff education / training for shopfloor personnel. As a key member of the manufacturing production team you will assist with SQDCIP, CI whilst optimising existing CNC processes, eliminating waste through monthly reporting and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:
Manufacturing / Production / Technical Engineer CNC Bias. Applicants will be either time served, apprentice trained and or educated to degree or HND/HNC standard within relevant subjects. You must have experience of working within engineering / manufacturing, CNC programming and tooling, CAD / CAM, CI, and Lean Implementation. 6 Sigma, 5s and SMED. You will ideally have a background in a fast passed manufacturing or similar environment. You will also have managed projects and produced CAPEX submissions and demonstrate expertise relating to continuous improvement, quality, and H&S within engineering production.
Candidates must be career driven, enthusiastic and have the skills required to manage projects and communicate effectively at all levels.
