Do you have a passion for data analysis and process improvement? Independent Forgings and Alloys are now looking to recruit several Manufacturing Engineers to join a team focused on analysing production data to identify ways to improve quality and delivery. You will collaborate with the wider production team to implement improvement initiatives, leveraging your continuous improvement and lean expertise.

Whilst one day will never be the same as the next, a typical day might include;

  • Analysing yesterday's production data with the view of improving quality or delivery tomorrow.
  • Coordinate and lead Continuous Improvement activities and introduce and refine routing, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Working with the production team on improvement ideas using your Lean and continuous improvement skills.
  • Drafting a report or putting together a presentation showing the savings your team have made so far.

What do you need to succeed at IFA?

  • Career experience within a Manufacturing, Heavy Process, CNC or similar environment.
  • Qualified to HNC, HND or similar Qualifications, a Six Sigma Green belt would be advantageous.
  • You will have a proven track record in delivering Lean or Cost Down improvement projects.
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the business.
