Manufacturing Engineer role & responsibilities: We are looking for an ambitious and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join the team to provide support to the business in relation to Engineering, providing a high-quality service to highly regulated industry. The successful candidate will be required to successfully implement machining strategies (CAD CAM) in order to manufacture components to customer specification. The role: • Create Manufacturing Methods. • Produce CNC programs using Siemens NX. • Simulation of CNC Programs using Vericut. • Provide technical support and expertise to the production team. • Produce technical production documentation, SOP’s, Tooling sheets, inspection sheets etc. • Design and development of work holding methods including technical drawings. • Understanding of measurement methods and techniques. • Interpretation of technical drawings. • Provide technical support to projects and commercial teams. • Perform any other duties which may be reasonably associated with the job in order to meet the needs of the company. The successful candidate • Highly motivated individual. • Excellent attention to detail. • Degree/ Apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering or related field. • Ideally a minimum of 2-3 years industrial experience. • Strong knowledge of CNC Machining. • 3 to 5 years CAD / CAM experience. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to manage own time and workload effectively. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
