Thursday + Fridays only. 20 hours per week Minimum

12 hours on Thirsday (6am - 6pm) and 8 Hours on the Friday (8am - 4pm)

I am recruiting exclusively for a key manufacturing client based in South Yorkshire. They are a leading UK food manufacturer in the FMCG marketplace. They are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, to assist with general maintenance work covering the whole plant and varied complex machinery.

As Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:

v  Reactive maintenance with PPM in between, on mechanical machinery, high pressure boilers, pumps, valves, weighers, baggers, flow wraps etc

v  Fixing fast paced industrial production machinery including but not limited to gears /motors / conveyors / bearings etc

v  Working safely and make recommendations for improvements

As Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will need to have the following attributes:

v  Mechanical engineering apprenticeship time served C&G L3 or qualified to NVQ L3

v  Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles

v  Working to high levels of Health and Safety

v  Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentality

v  Experience within general fast paced manufacturing production environments

v  Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisors

v  Provide your own tools
