A reputable firm in Sheffield is seeking a skilled Mechanical Pump Fitter to join their dynamic team.
Based on 39 hours per week Monday to Friday and offers a very competitive salary of 37,000 - 40,000 (DOE)
This permanent role would also suit somebody with experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical maintenance engineer / Mechanical technician / Multi - Skilled Engineer / Pump Technician / Pump Engineer
Role Essentials:
- Conduct precise measurements and analyses to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Apply your mechanical prowess in the maintenance and repair of pumps and rotating equipment
- Utilise industry-standard tools and equipment with a commitment to safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to upholding high-quality standards
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a mechanical environment, specifically within the pump industry
- Proficiency in handling rotating equipment and performing thorough root cause analysis
- Capability to travel for short periods to fulfil specific site work requirements
- A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (NVQ L3 or C&G Equivalent)
