Your new companyAn extremely successful private sector business within financial services.Your new roleA newly created PA and Office Manager position, joining a team of around 40 employees. Supporting 4 Directors and overseeing the general management of the office, this role will be incredibly varied and fast-paced. Culture is the most important thing to this very people-focused business, so an outgoing and friendly personality is a pre-requisite!

As PA, you will:-

  • Manage diaries and travel both within the UK and internationally
  • Book accommodation and meeting rooms
  • Manage a busy in-box and review emails
  • Amend and format papers and presentations
  • Prepare adhoc letters and emails
  • Process cash and credit card expense claims
  • Organise staff social events, arrange meeting rooms and refreshments and in-house catering

Office Management duties:-

  • You will be the main contact for the buildings facilities management provider.
  • Communicate issues and work with external contracts (looking after the budget)
  • Liaise with employees and facilities management in regard to health and safety
  • Ensure all insurance policies are up-to-date, and that contracts are adhered to
  • Manage the use of parking spaces, order stationery

Working with a close-knit team, this role will be hands-on!What you'll need to succeedYou will need a solid background as a PA working at executive level. If you have office management experience, this will give you an advantage, although it is not essential. You will naturally have strong organisational and time management skills. We are looking for excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to think on your feet. You must be efficient, professional, be proactive and have superb interpersonal skills.
