Part-Time Sales Administrator - close to the City CentrePermanent - Part-Time

We are exclusively working with an established market leader of specialists in medical equipment - Due to their ongoing commitment to new and existing clients, they have an exciting vacancy for an Internal Sales Administrator within their offices in Sheffield. This is an interesting opportunity to join a friendly and caring team, which offers very good opportunities for growth within the company. They are looking for someone with a positive outlook, a bubbly, confident personality and a good work ethic, someone who picks instructions up quickly and who has ambition and can focus!

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the main duties will include:

  • Processing sales orders by telephone, website, email, Purchase Order.
  • Answering telephone and assisting customers or transferring calls appropriately.
  • Dealing with customer queries by phone/email.
  • Contacting customers with any sales order queries.
  • Processing sales returns.
  • Providing quotations to customers where required.
  • Providing quotations and processing orders
  • Assisting with administration of large projects, and marketing campaigns where required.
  • Ensuring customer information is accurate and up to date
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year Administration and IT/Database usage
  • Minimum GCSE Level 4/Grade C English and Mathematics essential. Computer studies/CLAIT qualification or equivalent desirable. 'A' level qualified suitable.

To succeed you will:

  • Need to be highly organised with close attention to detail and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have the ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to retain information
  • Be approachable and work well within a team, but also have the ability to work on your own and to prioritise your own workload.
  • Be adaptive to changes in existing processes
  • Be IT Literate, experienced in using Microsoft Word and Excel, and CRM preferable

Benefits:

  • Starting Salary £25k (pro rata) pa pro rata (based on a 37.5hr week): £12.82 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Minimum 25 hours pw over 5 days: Monday - Friday (5 hours per day). This can be flexible between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm.
