Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing company based in Sheffield to recruit an Assistant Maintenance Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader/Maintenance Supervisor to become a Maintenance Manager within a 12 month period.
The Assistant Maintenance Manager will lead all manufacturing engineering maintenance, be responsible for a diverse team and have full budgetary responsibility for the department.
Duties of the Assistant Maintenance Manager will include:
- Responsible for installation, maintenance, and improvement of production lines
- Manage contractors
- Lead, develop and manage a team
- Analyse and improve material usage
- Analyse downtime, identify trends and develop solutions
- Identify and justify capital equipment investment
- Drive continuous improvement activities
- Identify business improvement opportunities within the organisation
We would be keen to speak with Assistant Maintenance Managers with the following:
- Previous maintenance experience with an engineering or manufacturing environment
- People management experience
- Strong communication skills
