Unite People are working with an constructioncontractor to hire a Freelance Site Manager for a small project inSheffield.
You will be working on an initial scheme in Nottingham working on minor refurbishment of building internalsoverseeing trades staff doing decorating, decorations, floor finishes, stud partitions, minor M&E works, security and fire alarms of an existing building.
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Manage all aspects of construction on site through to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and project time-lines.
- Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors.
- Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
- Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the company and clients. Provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain project program
Required experience and qualifications:
- CSCS Card, SMSTS & First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness (Preferable)
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
