Position: Operations Manager
Location: Sheffield City Centre
Salary: £45k depending on experience
Hours: 9am to 5.30pm, 5 days per week (including some weekend working). Part-time options available

About the Role: 

As our Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming Sheffield city centre into a thriving hub. You will support our Head of Operations in managing the BID, assist member businesses, and work closely with agencies like Sheffield City Council and South Yorkshire Police to enhance the trading environment.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Team Leadership: Manage the BID’s Welcome Team ambassadors, the seven-day Clean Team, and an external graffiti contractor.
     
  • Safety Initiatives: Lead anti-crime and security efforts, supporting businesses affected by anti-social behaviour and acting as a key link with the Business Crime Partnership.
     
  • Operational Support: Provide daily assistance to businesses on environmental issues impacting the trading environment.
     
  • Daytime and Night-time Economy: Ensure the city centre remains safe and vibrant at all hours, with experience in managing night-time economy initiatives being beneficial.

 Relevant Experience:
