Site Manager - Wastewater Pipeline Construction
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Role Overview: Managing wastewater pipeline installation projects within Yorkshire Water's operational area. Responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing teams, and maintaining client relationships while delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, including CDM requirements and environmental standards
- Manage day-to-day site operations including workforce supervision, plant coordination, and material management
- Oversee pipeline installation works including excavation, laying, testing and reinstatement activities
- Coordinate with Yorkshire Water representatives, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Monitor and maintain project programme, quality standards and cost control
- Manage site documentation including permits, risk assessments, and method statements
- Supervise and coordinate site teams including direct labour and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with Yorkshire Water specifications and technical standards
- Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and professional appearance at all times
Required: SMSTS, CSCS, and ideally relevant pipeline construction experience.
