Position Overview:
Elevation Recruitment Group’s – Marketing Division are pleased to be working with one of the UK’s leading suppliers.
Joining a team of 7 and reporting to the Marketing Manager you will  play a key role in inspiring and educating our audience. Our client have been supplying their products to their clients for over 50 years and we’ve recently expanded our focus into another market. We’re after a creative person with a flair for making complex topics accessible and interesting, to help us continue to engage and grow our customer base.
You’ll need demonstrable experience of writing captivating copy and content to educate and inspire. Change in our industry is a certainty, so you’ll be adaptable with a ‘get stuff done’ mentality. You must be organised and able to work across several projects at once, working both independently and as part of our friendly team. PR or journalistic experience would be the chocolate on the cake.
Responsibilities:
- Creating written content in the form of emails, blog posts, articles and literature
- Maintaining the content of the websites, including updating product descriptions and maintaining the user experience
- Working as part of the wider team to devise, develop and deliver marketing campaigns
- Data analysis and measuring key insights according to the KPIs set for campaigns
- Preparing reports on marketing activities, sales performance and market trends
- Focused copywriting
- Creating digital and hard-copy adverts
- PPC advertising
- Supporting live web events
- Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
- Attending and organising events for networking, research, education and customer retention purposes
- Training to stay ahead of industry (food and marketing) shifts
- Supporting the Sales team with resources and literature
- Customer communications
- Marketing and customer research
- Developing and implementing the company brand
- Building customer relationships using digital platforms
Requirements:
- Full mix marketing background with a focus on copywriting
- Be able to provide examples of long form copy- product descriptions, newsletters, blogs etc
- Exposure to PPC campaigns
