In this pivotal role, you will support the electrical operations of a site handling over 145 cranes, playing a vital part in both preventative and reactive maintenance.Role OverviewAs a Crane Technician, your primary focus will be Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), with occasional reactive repairs. Your day-to-day tasks will involve servicing, calibrating, and participating in the modernisation and overhaul of the site’s cranes, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of the facility. With varied challenges, no two days will be the same!Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct PPM and assist with reactive maintenance as needed.
  • Service and calibrate cranes, contributing to the facility’s modernisation efforts.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain safe and efficient crane operations.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and perform component-level fault finding.
About You:We are looking for a skilled electrical maintenance professional with the following:
  • Electrical qualification: Ideally HNC/BTEC Level 4, though ONC/Level 3 candidates will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings.
  • Experience in fault finding down to component level.
  • Safety-conscious with a methodical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Adaptable and innovative, willing to "think outside the box."
