Job Description
We are looking for multiple experiencedPump Service Engineers to join our esteemed, market leading client, specialising in pumping equipment solutions, boasting over sixty years of industry expertise.
In this role, you'll partner with another skilled Engineer (either Mechanical or Electrical) and work as a duo to swiftly address breakdowns and deliver top-notch servicing, installation, and commissioning of diverse pumping equipment.
This role is suitable for someone with engineering qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical), ideally with a background in pumping equipment, pumping stations, valves, pipework, drainage, utilities, water treatment etc.

What youll be doing
- Servicing, installation, and commissioning of a variety of pumping equipment including Pumps, Pumping Stations, Pump Kiosks / Control Panels, Valves, and Pipework
- Maintenance and monitoring of equipment
- Optimise equipment through troubleshooting and repairs
- Respond to service requests and breakdowns
- Flexibility for overnight stays as needed
- Log work progress in detailed site reports
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a positive company representative
- Drive the company van and maintain with necessary tools and supplies needed
- Manage petty cash and process payments efficiently
Hours
Monday-Friday, Day Shifts, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
Pay
- London £45,000 - £54,000
- Bristol £32,000 - £45,000
- Stoke-on-Trent £32,000 £45,000
- Sheffield £32,000 - £45,000
Overtime paid at time 1/3 & time 1/2
All pay rates are dependent on experience
Skills/Experience Required
- Experience with Pumping equipment is essential (Pumps, Valves, Pipework or similar)
- A background in Utility Maintenance, Water Treatment, Drainage etc would be beneficial
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
- 17th or 18th edition qualification would be an advantage
- A valid UK driving licence is essential
- Must be flexible to stay away from home if required
- CSCS, First Aid or Confined space training would be beneficial
