External Account Manager

Sheffield / Field Based

£35,000 + Car + Bonus 

Elevation are thrilled to be working with a leading safety equipment supplier to recruit an External Account Manager. Your primary role is to deliver exceptional sales and profit performance by identifying and building new business opportunities within a designated territory, all while efficiently managing existing accounts. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving our organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts within the sales territory
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects through various channels, including research, cold calling, direct referrals, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Follow up on sales leads provided by the Sales Manager or generated through marketing campaigns
  • Manage an opportunity pipeline process to create and develop new business opportunities
  • Negotiate commercial terms within set guidelines to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Provide product support to new and existing customers and collaborate with Sales and Marketing for external marketing support
  • Supply accurate information to the Customer Services department regarding customer quotations, orders, and service-related requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience
