Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metallurgist to join ateam in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgy and materials science, with a focus on developing and improving metal products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development on metal materials and processes.
• Analyse the properties and performance of metals and alloys.
• Develop new metal products and improve existing ones.
• Perform failure analysis and provide solutions to metallurgical problems.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support and expertise to other departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a metallurgical role.
• Strong knowledge of metal properties, processing, and testing methods.
• Proficiency in using metallurgical analysis tools and software.
