Ardeta Search is delighted to be partnering with our client, a highly regarded company in the engineering services sector in Sheffield, to find a motivated and organised Production Scheduler/Planner Administrator to join their team.
This role is crucial in coordinating and managing the scheduling of engineering teams across the UK, ensuring smooth and efficient operations for their customers. The role would suit someone passionate about engineering/production and seeking a role as an entry into this environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Planning: Organise and coordinate service engineers to carry out maintenance and repair work at client sites across the UK.
- Customer Liaison: Confidently communicate with clients to arrange appointments, confirm schedules, and ensure smooth operations.
- Administration Support: Process work orders, manage purchase orders, and handle invoices for completed jobs.
- ERP/MRP Systems: Work within the company's management systems to maintain accurate job records and ensure timely scheduling of resources.
- Quote Follow-up: Follow up on quotes to book visits and ensure that customer requests are actioned promptly.
About You:
- You are methodical and thrive on keeping everything organised, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Previous experience in scheduling or coordinating in an engineering, manufacturing, or similar technical environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple engineers and clients simultaneously.
- Confident and professional in speaking with customers, able to handle enquiries and adjustments in scheduling with ease.
- Familiarity with engineering or technical terminology is an advantage but not essential.
- Keen to learn and develop, with opportunities for training and career progression.

Salary:Guide salary £24,000 - £26,000 DOE
