About the Role:

As a Music Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and creative music lessons to students across a range of year groups. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, where you can nurture students' musical talents and foster a love of learning through music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspiring and engaging students of all abilities, from Key Stage 3 to GCSE and A-Level.
  • Supporting the development of extracurricular music activities, including school choirs, bands, and performances.
  • Preparing students for music exams and school performances.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student progress.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
  • A passion for music and a strong desire to inspire students to achieve their best.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Immediate availability for work.
