You will be responsible for managing the import/Export of clients' products from various industries across the world via sea, ocean & Air. Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients throughout the shipping process and collaborating with the team to provide logistics solutions.
- Handling day-to-day shipments start to finish.
- Building and maintaining client relations for continued business
- Coordinating final mile delivery requirements with third-party suppliers and in-house team
- Providing general customs advice and creating customs and import ocean documents.
Requirements
- Experience working in Operations for Road, Sea & Air shipments.
- Ideally 2-3 years' experience working in a similar position for a freight forwarder in the UK.
- Knowledge of customs would be a bonus.
- Understanding of AEO procedures, Bills of Lading, Inco Terms, and general customs compliance
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Customer service experience
