Link3 is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our nursery in Sheffield.

As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the preschool room, ensuring a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0 to 5 years.This is a full-time and term-time position: 39 weeks per year, 33.45 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily activities within the preschool room.
  • Ensure effective use of staff and resources, maintaining high standards of care and education.
  • Implement and enhance practices to continuously improve the learning environment.
  • Collaborate with management to uphold preschool standards and contribute to staff development.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and foster child-led learning.

To be successful in this Room Leader position, you will:

  • Hold a minimum qualification of Level 3 in Childcare (e.g., CWDC Diploma, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ, CACHE).
  • Have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience in a childcare setting, including some senior responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Be able to effectively communicate and relate to both children and colleagues.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
  • At least 2 years in a relevant childcare role with experience in senior responsibilities.
  • Understanding of children’s development, EYFS, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
