Office Manager| Sheffield | Full Time | Competitive Salary

Our client is the UK’s leading forge master in the oil & gas industry and have recently acquired accreditations for the Nuclear and Aerospace industries.  With 40 years’ experience in forging, our client are the specialists in creating bespoke products using open die methods.

They currently have an opportunity for an Office Manager responsible for a small team providing administrative and accounting support to the Company.  The main duties of the role include but are not limited to: -

The main duties of the role include: -

  • Credit checking of sales orders
  • Checking invoices, distributing to clients and posting to ledger (Sage)
  • Raising credits and payment chasing
  • Job costing data
  • Management of a small administration team and Cleaning Operatives
  • Maintaining records
  • Ordering consumables
  • Scanning customer sales orders
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Ensure any problems that may arise are dealt with promptly and efficiently

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience, and personal attributes: -

  • Previous experience within a similar role, within a similar industry is desirable
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly, Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
  • Effective people management skills
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to build credible relationships
  • Organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Methodical approach, and effective time management skills.
