We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attendance Officer to join a team at a friendly primary school in South Sheffield. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth management of student attendance and supporting the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date attendance records for all pupils.
  • Liaising with teaching staff, external agencies, and parents to ensure effective communication regarding attendance.
  • Monitoring and reporting on attendance patterns and concerns to senior staff.
  • Assisting with additional administrative tasks or reception duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a school office, specifically in an attendance role.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, external agencies, and parents.
  • Proficiency in school management software and Microsoft Office.

Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm
