We are seeking a dedicated Brickwork Tutor to join a leading public sector training organisation in Sheffield. This role is instrumental in shaping the future of young people with SEND by providing them with the necessary education and vocational training. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach the qualification for the skills required in the brickwork industry.
  • Impart the importance of health and safety and the working practices within the construction arena.
  • Instruct students in various skills including mixing mortar, preparation and construction of various walls, and the safe disposal of waste.
  • Manage a small class size of between 6 and 8 students, ensuring individual attention and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 3 or equivalent vocationally relevant qualification.
  • Relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience in supporting students through assignments and assessments.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
