Career Teachers work with a number of schools across Sheffield and the surrounding areas, and are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to bolster secondary education.
No formal teaching qualifications are necessary - your enthusiasm and dedication to maintaining classroom continuity in Key Stages 3 & 4 is what counts! If you are confident in your ability to engage and motivate students, this role is for you!
If you have have experience working in roles like Sports Coaching, Activity Leader and other group positions - this could be the perfect role for you! Or if you're looking to get into Teaching - this is a great opportunity!
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Stepping into the classroom when teachers are unavailable, providing adept student supervision.
- Executing prearranged lesson plans with confidence, ensuring seamless classroom operations.
- Facilitating student engagement and focus, fostering an inclusive and conducive learning atmosphere.
- Embracing a range of subjects, spanning from Physical Education to English, Science to Drama, and beyond.
- Directing class cohorts of up to 30 students, guiding them toward academic excellence.

Salary & working hours:
Daily rates of pay vary dependent on experience between 90 to 110.
This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time positions available - meaning, you have full control of when you are looking to work and how many hours you want to complete.
All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
