They operate under core values, focusing on community, inclusion, diversity and equal opportunities.Your new roleThe school are looking to appoint an Early Years Teacher to join their nursery to cover maternity leave from Easter 2025. This will be an exciting role for the right candidate, working alongside well established members of staff who are familiar with the setting. You will be expected to;

  • Deliver a curriculum around the EYFS framework
  • Plan lessons and activities for each ability within your group
  • Facilitate lessons and activities linked to EYFS milestones
  • Observe, assess and record pupil progress and use this for development
  • Liaise with other staff and professionals regarding children in your care
  • Feedback to parents
  • Create a positive learning environment where children are nurtured

What you'll need to succeed

  • QTS and relevant qualifications
  • Experience within an Early Years setting
  • Commitment to a long term role
  • Knowledge of Read Write Inc and other relevant phonic schemes
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
