The RoleWe are seeking a passionate and resilient MFL Teacher, with French as the main subject, to work in a challenging but rewarding Sheffield school. This role requires strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to making a significant impact on students' lives.

You'll teach pupils who benefit greatly from structure, support, and guidance. While the environment presents challenges, it also offers one of the most rewarding teaching experiences-helping students build confidence and achieve success where it matters most.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging French lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring enthusiasm for language learning.

  • Support and structure lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners and help them achieve their potential.
  • Build positive relationships with students to foster trust and progress in both their academic and personal development.

Requirements

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching French at the secondary level, with a proven ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply).
  • A resilient and empathetic approach, with a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
