We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our client's payroll team on an initial 12 month FTC until March 2026. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, alongside managing related financial responsibilities. The successful candidate will gain exposure to the entire payroll cycle, therefore it is an excellent opportunity to broaden your payroll skillset and offer development.

Description

In this Payroll Officer position based in Sheffield, main responsibilities will include;

  • Accurate processing of monthly payroll ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
  • Managing pension schemes and processing statutory payments.
  • Assisting with end of year payroll processing.
  • Regularly updating payroll records and databases.
  • Addressing employee queries regarding payroll and related financial matters.
  • Liaising with HR and other departments for integrated financial management.
  • Preparing reports for senior management as required.
  • Continuously improving payroll processes and systems for increased efficiency.

Profile
