In this Payroll Officer position based in Sheffield, main responsibilities will include;
- Accurate processing of monthly payroll ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Managing pension schemes and processing statutory payments.
- Assisting with end of year payroll processing.
- Regularly updating payroll records and databases.
- Addressing employee queries regarding payroll and related financial matters.
- Liaising with HR and other departments for integrated financial management.
- Preparing reports for senior management as required.
- Continuously improving payroll processes and systems for increased efficiency.
Profile

- Proven experience in payroll administration within the public sector.
