A Gas Service Engineer / Plumber with proven plumbing experience is needed to join the team at this leading plumbing and heating company based in Sheffield on a full-time basis.

The company is looking for Gas Service/Plumbing Engineers to join their well-established team. They work in the private and public sectors, making sure all clients receive the highest quality of work possible.

The role entails all aspects of service, breakdown, and repair work within South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

About the Role

All engineers are supported throughout the role, with a well-established administration and technical assistance team in place. All works are organised and implemented in a timely fashion through issued company PDAs.

Engineers with limited breakdown experience are still encouraged to apply. They all had to start somewhere and they don't choose candidates purely on their current skill level. They have highly skilled engineers and a robust program for bringing on engineers throughout their roles.

You will be required to work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend work available.

Required Experience:

  • Proven plumbing experience
  • Boiler installations, service, breakdown and repairs
  • Gas safety inspections
  • General plumbing installations and maintenance
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • ACS Certificate, Boiler, FGA, Cookers, Fires

Desirable Experience:

  • Gas Works: 2 years (preferred)
  • Plumbing: 2 years (preferred)
  • City & Guilds or Diploma Certificate (preferred)
  • Gas Safe Certification - 2 Years
  • NVQ2/NVQ3 in Plumbing & Heating
  • G3 qualification

Required Skills:

  • Communication skills with office staff, engineers, and clients
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Self-driven, reliable, organised and capable of working independently
  • Good IT Skills, required to use company software throughout the day
  • Time management skills
  • High Workmanship
