Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in Sheffield to recruit an experienced Homologation Type Approvals Coordinator.
The Approvals Coordinator will manage and maintain the company Vehicle Approval Homologation and will be working closely with Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA and other bodies to obtain and manage a variety of vehicle Type Approvals.
Our client is looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with employees, customers and suppliers.
Duties of the Approvals Coordinator include:
- Managing, maintaining and auditing the Vehicle Approval Systems (Homologation Type Approval)
- Following all applicable standards and liaising with the certification body (VCA)
- Creating Information Folders as required by approval bodies
- Liaising with design teams to obtain drawings
- Inputting product specification and development to design compliance
- Monitoring the component lists and auditing
- Producing, managing and maintaining the Operating Procedures
- Providing support with the production control plan
- Recording of all vehicle weighing exercises to determine averages
- Creating VIN plate labels as required
- Attending all external audits.
We are keen to speak with Approvals Coordinators with the following skills/experience:
- Strong Commercial Vehicle background
- Must hold a valid driving licence
- Good computer skills.
- Understand the need for confidentiality
