We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our small, welcoming primary school in North Chesterfield. This part-time role involves working in a job share with an experienced and well-established member of staff, teaching a Year 1 class.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Teach phonics to support early reading and writing development.
- Collaborate effectively with your job share partner to ensure continuity of learning and progress for pupils.
- Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports every child's needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, including phonics instruction.
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and engaging with pupils.
- A passion for supporting young learners in their academic and personal development.
- A small, single-form entry primary school with a strong community ethos.
- Located in North Chesterfield with a friendly and supportive team environment.
