Hello Education are working with several amazing primary schools located in Sheffield, we are looking for Primary Teachers that are adaptable and able to work across Reception to Year 6.

You must have experience teaching between the years of Nursery and Year 6, with a clear knowledge of the curriculum. We can provide short-term and long-term positions for the remainder of the academic year.

The ideal Primary Teacher should:

  • Have QTS and completed their ECT
  • Be ambitious, nurturing and supportive
  • Be able to communicate and effectively lead a team
  • Be resilient, passionate and driven to go above and beyond for children of all needs

Your new role

  • Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
  • Maintain discipline
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development
  • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
  • Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
