Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and welcoming school? We are seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join our multi-form entry primary school in South Sheffield on a maternity cover contract, starting in July 2025 for a period of one year.

About the Role:

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged to reach their full potential. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with additional responsibilities, including:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback and support.

  • Participating in after-school meetings and parent's evenings.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience is desirable but not essential).

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.

  • A commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and ensuring the best outcomes for pupils.
