Randstad Education is recruiting on behalf of a primary school located in the S5 area of Sheffield. The role is a long term full-time role, to start asap on an on-going basis. The role is initially until April 2025, but is likely to get extended, or lead onto a permanent opportunity (if this would interest you at the time). School hours 8.30am-3.30pm.

The post involves working as a HLTA across KS1 and KS2 covering class teacher's PPA time. You will also be required to support groups and individuals throughout the week. A flexible and adaptable approach to working is necessary for the success of the position. You will be expected to liaise effectively with colleagues regularly regarding planning and lesson outcomes.

What you will need:

  • Ideally a relevant HLTA qualification or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working in a primary school in a similar role
  • A hard working and dedicated attitude
  • Would also suit an ECT keen to gain regular work for a few months
