Adept have been retained by a family owned and run manufacturing facility based in Sheffield. The Company is well established and manufactures components in exotic materials for many Key Industries. If you have experience with MCosmos and/or Cam2 Measure 10, we'd love to hear from you! Candidates should have a strong background in CMM techniques and well-developed inspection methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Chief Inspector.
- Operate CMM machines independently.
- Knowledge of developing/editing CMM programs is a plus (training available).
- Participate actively in our Health & Safety culture, following all procedures.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 4-day compressed work week.
- Hours: Monday-Wednesday (6 am - 4:30 pm), Thursday (6 am - 3:30 pm).
- Ample overtime opportunities.
- Holidays: 23 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays (adjusted for 4-day schedule)
About You:
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant CMM experience.
- Proficient in inspection philosophies and techniques, with a solid grasp of GD&T.
- Skilled in using manual inspection equipment.
- Strong understanding of quality processes and standards.
