Adept are working with a steel stockholder based in Sheffield, who are currently seeking a Saw Operative to join their team.
Working hours: Perm nights - Sunday night to Friday morning
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate sawing machines to cut, trim, and shape materials per specifications.
- Read and interpret drawings
- Ensure precise measurements and quality of cuts.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for efficiency.
- Inspect materials for defects before and after cutting.
- Safely handle and store materials.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team for smooth production.
**Requirements:**
- Experience as a Saw Operator in
- Proficiency in operating sawing equipment.
- Understanding of measurements and drawings.
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness.
