Role Summary
To work with and support the Project Manager in the daily management, delivery and further development of the Stothard Supported Living service and deputise for the Project Manager during their absence.
Principle Duties
- In discussion with the Project Manager, take direct responsibility for managing and delivering identified functions. Rapidly extend this range of responsibilities as experience is gained in the role.
- Lead the service staff team to ensure high quality care and assistance is delivered to the people we support with particular regard to individual needs.
- Take an active role in staff development and training through delivering induction, and mentoring, aimed at increasing staff skill levels and good channels of communication.
- Carry out tenant support duties as a regular element of the role, to ensure effective delivery of the service and wellbeing of the people we support.
- Undertake regular auditing and monitoring to ensure the service is compliant with Health and Safety, Risk Assessment and Duty of Care requirements. Conduct individual reviews of staff members progress on a regular basis.
- Initially take responsibility for managing tenant rent accounts in collaboration with the Project Manager. Progressively take responsibility for a wider range of financial processes.
- Attend and contribute to external forums and liaise professionally with others including tenants families and other agencies, promoting a positive profile of Stothard Supported Living Charity.
- Work with the Project Manager to prepare material required by the Board of Trustees and attend meetings of the Board on a regular basis.
- Contribute to the wider management, leadership and ongoing development of Stothard Supported Living Charity.
